Reporting To: IT Manager / Head of IT

Job Summary

The Team Lead IT is responsible for managing the organization's IT infrastructure, network operations, system administration, cybersecurity controls, and IT support team. The role involves ensuring high availability, performance, and security of IT systems while leading a team of IT professionals and coordinating with - vendors and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Team Leadership

- Lead, mentor, and supervise the IT & Networking team.
- Allocate tasks, monitor performance, and provide technical guidance.
- Conduct regular team meetings and performance reviews.
- Ensure adherence to IT policies, procedures, and best practices.

Network Management

- Design, implement, and maintain LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, VPN, and Internet connectivity.
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot connectivity issues.
- Configure and manage routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers.
- Ensure network security through proper access controls and monitoring.

System Administration

- Manage Windows/Linux servers, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and cloud services.
- Oversee server installation, upgrades, maintenance, and patch management.
- Ensure data backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity processes are effective.
- Monitor system performance and capacity planning.

IT Infrastructure & Security

- Implement and maintain cybersecurity measures.
- Manage endpoint security, antivirus, EDR, firewalls, and access management.




- Perform vulnerability assessments and coordinate remediation activities.
- Ensure compliance with organizational and regulatory security standards.

IT Support & Operations

- Oversee IT helpdesk operations and SLA compliance.
- Resolve complex technical issues and escalations.
- Ensure smooth functioning of hardware, software, printers, and communication systems.
- Maintain IT asset inventory and lifecycle management.

Vendor & Project Management

- Coordinate with vendors, ISPs, and technology partners.
- Manage IT projects, upgrades, migrations, and new technology implementations.
- Evaluate and recommend hardware, software, and networking solutions.
- Control IT-related budgets and procurement activities.

Documentation & Reporting

- Maintain network diagrams, system documentation, and SOPs.
- Generate reports on network health, incidents, security, and team performance.
- Ensure proper documentation of configurations and changes.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Networking, or related field.
- 7–8+ years of experience in IT Infrastructure and Networking.
- 2+ years of experience leading or supervising an IT team.

Preferred Certifications

- CCNA / CCNP
- Microsoft Certified (Azure Administrator, Windows Server)
- VMware Certification (VCP)
