Your role and responsibilities
We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Specialist with experience in warehouse operations, inventory management, logistics coordination, and team supervision. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring productive warehouse operations, maintaining inventory accuracy, optimizing storage utilization, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives while adhering to safety and quality standards.

This role is contributing to the Motion business for High Power division based in Vadodara, India
Key Responsibilities
Warehouse Operations
- Manage day-to-day warehouse activities including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and dispatch operations.
- Ensure timely and accurate processing of inbound and outbound shipments.
- Ensure timely GRN and Issuance.
- Ensure timely dispatch of Subcon
- Monitor warehouse productivity and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency.
- Optimize warehouse space utilization and material flow.
Inventory Management
- Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts, stock audits, and reconciliation activities.
- Ensure proper inventory control practices including FIFO implementation.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
- Monitor stock levels and coordinate replenishment activities.
System & Documentation
- Perform inventory transactions in ERP/WMS systems (SAP, Oracle, JDE, Dynamics, etc.).
- Generate inventory, shipment, and KPI reports.
- Maintain accurate warehouse documentation and records.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and audit requirements.
Team Coordination
- Guide and support warehouse operators and material handlers.
- Coordinate with procurement, production, planning and transport for job work material.
- Provide on-the-job training to new warehouse personnel.
- Monitor workforce productivity and adherence to procedures.
Safety & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with warehouse safety regulations and company standards.
- Promote 6S and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Conduct safety inspections and identify potential risks.
- Ensure proper handling of materials and warehouse equipment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors in Electrical / Mechanical engineering field.
- 78 years of experience in warehouse operations, inventory control, and logistics management.
- Strong experience with SAP systems and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
- knowledge of inventory management and warehouse best practices.
- Good understanding of warehouse KPIs and operational reporting.
