Purpose/Objective

This position of Shift Maintenance is responsible for all routine mechanical maintenance of TG & Aux.
and BOP during shift.

Key Responsibilities of Role

- Ensure safe working in the assigned area during the entire shift.
- Implementation of CAPA in turbine area Pumps, Piping, Valves.
- To works as per JSA.
- Execute innovative plant maintenance standards required to remain competitive.
- Provide input to long term maintenance plans based on predictive & preventive maintenance principles.
- Provide budget inputs and control cost to maintain yearly budgets - Interface with other departments in supporting plant PLF, Heat Rate, and other key goals.
- Support to maintain optimum inventory level while keeping balance between inventory value and availability of critical spares.




- Ensure continual improvement in equipment and system performance.
- Get work done through service provider.
- Maintain necessary document for the job.
- Quality parameter’s to be achieved through best maintenance practices.

Technical Competencies

Knowledge of PM, CBM, Breakdown, shut down & OH Maintenance of mechanical equipments,Knowledge of Thermal Power Plant,Recordkeeping of critical parameters (Related with mechanical maintenance) of equipment in TG Aux & BOP area,SAP Knowledge & Skills

Essential Qualification: B.

Tech (Mech.
) Desired Qualification: M.
E / M.
Tech (Mech.
) Experience Total : 5 - 12 Yrs
