Job location: Bangaluru
Shift Timing: Primarily India and UK shifts, with the possibility of night shifts if necessary
Mandatory Skills: Strong hands-on experience in MS SQL Server & PostgreSQL DBA activities including high availability solutions (Replication, Failover, Clustering)
- Good experience in MS SQL & PostgreSQL Installation, patching/upgrade and handling very large databases.
- Strong knowledge in installing/managing SQL failover clustering, configuring log shipping and mirroring.
- Comfortable in setting up and managing all the backup and recovery strategies.
- Valuable experience in performance tuning and troubleshooting.
- Good experience in replication set up
- Strong knowledge on ITIL practices and ITSM tools.
Resource is required to work from the client office in Bangalore for three days a week. Along with the required technical skills.
