About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and proactive MEP Engineer with 4- 5 years of experience in executing and coordinating Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) works for industrial food factory projects across India. The ideal candidate should have strong site execution expertise, contractor management skills, and the ability to ensure projects are completed on time while maintaining quality, safety, and statutory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

Mechanical

- Supervise installation and execution of HVAC, ventilation, firefighting, boiler, ETP, gas distribution systems, utility piping, and other mechanical services.
- Review mechanical drawings, technical specifications, and shop drawings.
- Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and project teams for seamless execution.
- Ensure all mechanical works are executed as per approved drawings, project specifications, and quality standards.

Electrical

- Supervise installation of LT/HT panels, power distribution boards (PDB), switchboards, lighting systems, cable trays, cabling, earthing, DG systems, and CCTV installations.
- Review electrical load calculations, drawings, and technical submissions.
- Conduct inspections, testing, and commissioning activities.
- Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards and statutory regulations.

Plumbing

- Supervise installation of plumbing, drainage, water supply, and sewage systems.
- Verify piping layouts, installation quality, and material specifications.
- Coordinate with civil and architectural teams to resolve site clashes and ensure smooth execution.

General Responsibilities

- Prepare Bills of Quantities (BOQ), quantity estimation, and material reconciliation.
- Review contractor bills, measurements, and work progress.




- Monitor project schedules and ensure timely completion of assigned activities.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports.
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, vendors, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders.
- Participate in project review and coordination meetings.
- Ensure compliance with safety procedures, quality standards, IS Codes, NBC guidelines, and statutory requirements.
- Resolve technical and site-related issues efficiently.

Required Skills

- Strong knowledge of Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing systems.
- Good understanding of MEP drawings, shop drawings, and construction methodologies.
- Experience in industrial project site execution and coordination.
- Knowledge of BOQ preparation, quantity estimation, billing, and material reconciliation.
- Familiarity with IS Codes, National Building Code (NBC), and safety regulations.
- Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple site activities and work under project deadlines.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
- 4-5 years of relevant experience in MEP execution.
- Experience in industrial or commercial construction projects is preferred.
- Willingness to travel and work at project sites across PAN India.

Preferred Software Knowledge

- AutoCAD
- Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- MS Project
- MEP drafting and coordination software (preferred)
- ERP/project management software (added advantage)
