Job Title: Technician - Sr. Technician for Control and Instrumentation of Captive Power Plant
Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Technician or Sr. Technician to join our team at SMEL Security Services Private Limited. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the control and instrumentation systems of our captive power plant, ensuring optimal performance and reliability. This role requires a strong understanding of electrical and instrumentation systems, as well as the ability to troubleshoot and maintain equipment effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and maintain control and instrumentation systems in the power plant
- Perform regular inspections and preventive maintenance on equipment
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to instrumentation and control systems
- Assist in the installation and commissioning of current equipment
- Document maintenance activities and maintain accurate records
- Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to optimize plant performance
Qualifications:
Diploma or degree in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation,
or a related field Minimum 3-5 years of experience in control and instrumentation in a power plant or similar environment Strong understanding of electrical and instrumentation principles Ability to work independently and as part of a team Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Willingness to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
Skills: Proficient in control systems and instrumentation Solid troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Knowledge of electrical systems and power generation Experience with PLCs and SCADA systems Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics Familiarity with safety standards and regulations in power plants
