About the role:

The Power Platform Administrator is responsible for the overall governance, health, and lifecycle management of the organization's Microsoft Power Platform environments, including Dataverse, Power Apps, Power Automate, and Dynamics 365 applications. This role ensures the platform is secure, performs optimally, scales effectively, and supports strategic business initiatives, including critical data management and decommissioning strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

- Platform & Environment Management: - Manage the provisioning, configuration, monitoring, and de-provisioning of Power Platform environments (including Dynamics 365 instances) across the organization's tenants.

- Oversee environment strategies, capacity planning, and licensing within the Power Platform.

- Implement and enforce Data Loss Prevention (DLP) policies, tenant level settings, and security to maintain platform integrity and compliance.

- Security & Governance: - Implement and manage security best practices for the Power Platform, including role-based access control (RBAC), workplace security, and data protection policies.

- Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments.

- Ensure compliance with organizational security policies and industry regulations.

- Performance & Monitoring: - Monitor the performance and health of Power Platform environments, identifying and resolving issues proactively.

-Utilize Power Platform Admin Center analytics and other tools to track usage, diagnose problems, and optimize resource allocation.

- Manage solution deployments and application lifecycle management (ALM) processes for Power Apps, Power Automate, and Dynamics 365 customizations.

- Data Management & Decommissioning: - Develop and implement strategies for data backup, recovery,and archival for Power Platform environments and Dataverse data.

- Lead or support data decommissioning projects for Dynamics 365 instances,



including secure deletion of environments, data export to secondary systems, and verification of data removal.

- Work with stakeholders to define data retention policies and implement corresponding platform configurations.

- Integration & Support: - Configure and maintain connectors, gateways, and data integration points between the Power Platform and other business systems (e.g., Azure services, external databases).

- Provide escalation support for complex Power Platform issues that require root cause analysis at the infrastructure or platform level.

- Collaborate with application administrators (e.g., Dynamics 365 Admins) and developers to support solution development and deployment.

Other Capabilities:

- Ability to work as a Specialist/Lead, guiding teams on Microsoft Power Platform architecture and best practices.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills to collaborate with business and technical teams.
- Proven experience in driving governance, standardization, and optimization across multiple tenants and environments.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on root cause analysis and long-term remediation.

Qualifications and Skills:

- Extensive hands-on experience with Microsoft Power Platform, including Dataverse, Power Apps, Power Automate, and Dynamics 365.
- Strong understanding of Power Platform architecture, environment strategies, and ALM practices.
- Experience implementing and managing DLP policies, tenant-level settings, and security groups.
- Proficiency in configuring and managing connectors, gateways, and integrations with Azure services and external data sources.
- Solid knowledge of role-based access control (RBAC), security models, and compliance standards.
- Experience in data backup, recovery, archival, and decommissioning strategies for Dynamics 365 and Power Platform environments.
- Familiarity with Power Platform Admin Center analytics and monitoring tools.
- Relevant Microsoft certifications in Power Platform, Dynamics 365, or Azure are an advantage.
