Role & Responsibilities

- Production Planning: Execute daily production schedules and Production Planning & Control (PPC) to meet shift targets, optimize capacity utilization, and reduce lead times.
- Shop Floor Management: Oversee daily shop floor operations, line balancing, manpower allocation, and machine utilization to maximize operational efficiency.
- Process Optimization: Implement Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Kaizen, and Six Sigma methodologies to minimize waste, eliminate bottlenecks, and reduce cycle times.
- Quality & Compliance: Monitor product quality using SPC (Statistical Process Control), conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA), and ensure compliance with ISO 9001 / IATF 16949 standards.
- Equipment Maintenance: Coordinate with maintenance teams for Preventive Maintenance and TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) to minimize machine downtime.
- Data & Reporting: Maintain accurate production logs, BOM (Bill of Materials) updates, and inventory tracking utilizing SAP PP / ERP systems.

Preferred Candidate Profile

- Education: B.E. / B.Tech or Diploma in Mechanical, Production,



or Automobile Engineering.
- Experience: 2 to 5 years of proven experience as a Production Engineer on a high-volume manufacturing shop floor.
- Technical Skills: Strong hands-on knowledge of CNC/VMC programming, fabrication, or automated assembly lines.
- Certifications (Preferred): Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or certification in SAP (PP/MM modules) is highly preferred.
- Soft Skills: Solid leadership, quick problem-solving, active manpower management, and data-driven decision-making.
