Certified Project Manager (PMP) Banking & Regulatory Reporting

Location: Remote (6:30pm-3:30am)
Certification: Active PMP Certification (Mandatory or Pursuing)

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced PMP-certified Project Manager with a strong background in the Banking or Financial Services industry to lead end-to-end implementation of regulatory reporting and compliance projects. The ideal candidate will have experience managing cross-functional teams, interacting with banking stakeholders, and delivering complex projects within regulated environments.

Key Responsibilities

Project Management

- Lead end-to-end planning, execution, monitoring, and delivery of banking and regulatory reporting projects.
- Develop detailed project plans, timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.
- Manage project scope, budget, risks, dependencies, and change requests.
- Track project progress and ensure timely delivery.
- Conduct project governance meetings and provide regular status updates.

Regulatory & Compliance

- Manage projects related to financial and regulatory reporting.
- Ensure project deliverables comply with banking regulations and internal governance standards.
- Coordinate with Risk, Compliance, Finance, Audit, and Operations teams.
- Maintain project documentation to support regulatory audits.

Stakeholder Management





- Serve as the primary point of contact for business stakeholders and clients.
- Gather business requirements and translate them into project deliverables.
- Facilitate meetings with senior leadership, business teams, and technology teams.
- Communicate project status, risks, and mitigation plans.

Cross-functional Coordination

- Work closely with Business Analysts, Technology teams, Compliance, Finance, Risk, and Operations.
- Monitor deliverables across multiple teams.
- Resolve project issues and remove execution blockers.
- Drive collaboration across geographically distributed teams.

Reporting & Governance

- Prepare project dashboards, KPIs, RAID logs, and executive reports.
- Present project updates to senior management.
- Ensure adherence to PMO standards and project governance frameworks.

Mandatory Skills

- Active PMP Certification.
- 4–8 years of Project Management experience.
- Experience managing complex implementation projects in the Banking or Financial Services (BFSI) domain.
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies (PMBOK, Agile, Waterfall).
- Experience with project management tools such as Microsoft Project, Hive, Jira, or similar platforms.
- Excellent stakeholder and client management skills.
- Robust communication and presentation abilities.
