About the Role

VCNR Builders & Developers is seeking an experienced Purchase Manager to lead end-to-end procurement operations for residential, commercial, and infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate should possess extensive experience in construction procurement, strategic sourcing, vendor management, commercial negotiations, and material planning to ensure timely project execution while optimizing procurement costs.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead end-to-end procurement for all construction materials including Cement, Steel, RMC, Aggregates, MEP, Electrical, Plumbing, Finishing, and Interior materials.
- Develop and manage a robust vendor network through vendor identification, evaluation, empanelment, and performance monitoring.
- Conduct RFQs, comparative statement analysis, commercial negotiations, and vendor selection based on quality, delivery, technical compliance, and cost.
- Ensure adherence to the Three-Quotation Procurement Process and company procurement policies.
- Coordinate with Project Managers, Site Engineers, QA/QC, Planning, Finance,



and Stores for procurement planning and material availability.
- Prepare and finalize Purchase Orders (POs), monitor deliveries, and ensure timely supply of critical construction materials.
- Track procurement schedules and prevent project delays through proactive material planning.
- Negotiate pricing, payment terms, bulk discounts, and long-term supply agreements to achieve procurement savings.
- Review vendor invoices, payment recommendations, advance requests, and PO exceptions.
- Maintain Vendor Master Database, procurement documentation, and audit-ready records.
- Monitor procurement KPIs including cost savings, vendor performance, lead time, procurement cycle time, and material availability.
- Ensure compliance with GST regulations, procurement documentation, statutory requirements, and internal approval processes.
- Lead and mentor the procurement team while driving process improvements and operational excellence.
