Role & responsibilities

1. Overall Ductile Iron Plant Management: Overseeing all aspects of the foundry's operations, including production, quality control, maintenance, and safety, to ensure efficient and smooth functioning of the plant.

2. Production Planning: Developing and implementing production plans to meet the production targets while ensuring optimal utilization of resources and adherence to delivery schedules.

3. Quality Assurance: Establishing and maintaining strict quality control measures to produce high-quality cast iron counterweights that meet or exceed OEM specifications and industry standards.

4. Cost Management: Monitoring and managing the budget for the foundry, striving to optimize production costs while maintaining product quality and meeting customer demand.

5. Process Optimization: Continuously analyzing and improving manufacturing processes to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and increase productivity.

6. Health and Safety Compliance:



Ensuring a safe working environment for all employees by implementing and enforcing safety protocols, training programs, and compliance with relevant regulations.

7. Team Leadership: Leading and motivating a team of production workers, supervisors, and support staff to achieve common goals and foster a positive and productive work environment.

8. Continuous Improvement: Promoting a culture of continuous improvement and innovation to identify opportunities for operational enhancements and implement best practices.

9. Environmental Compliance: Ensuring compliance with environmental regulations and implementing sustainable practices to minimize the impact on the setting.

10. Crisis Management: Dealing with any unforeseen challenges or crises that may arise in the production process and implementing effective solutions promptly.
