We are looking for a highly motivated Test Engineer with 3-4 years of experience in Manual and Automation Testing. The ideal candidate should have robust knowledge of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC), test case design, defect management, API testing, and automation frameworks.

The candidate will be responsible for ensuring software quality by executing test plans, identifying defects, and collaborating with development teams to deliver robust and reliable products.

Strong understanding of:

Roles and Responsibilities

Test Planning & Design

Analyze business and functional requirements.
Create detailed test scenarios, test cases, and test data.
Review requirements to identify ambiguities and testability issues.
Estimate testing effort and support sprint planning activities.

Test Execution

Execute functional, regression, integration, system,



and smoke testing.
Validate application functionality against business requirements.
Perform exploratory testing to identify hidden defects.
Ensure complete test coverage for assigned modules.

Defect Management

Log, track, and verify defects using defect management tools.
Participate in defect triage meetings.
Retest resolved issues and perform impact analysis.
Ensure closure of defects before release.

Automation Testing

Develop and maintain automation test scripts.
Execute automated regression suites.
Analyze automation results and report failures.
Continuously improve automation coverage and framework stability.

API & Database Testing

Validate REST/SOAP APIs using testing tools.
Verify backend data through SQL queries.
Perform data integrity and data validation testing.

Collaboration

Work closely with Developers, Business Analysts, Product Owners, and Test Leads.
Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.
Provide regular status updates on testing progress and risks.

Quality Assurance

Ensure adherence to QA processes and standards.
Contribute to process improvement initiatives.
Prepare test execution reports and testing metrics.
