Job Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Team Lead with 4 to 6 years of hands-on experience in Java programming to lead a high-performing development team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Java, the JPOS framework, and RESTful web services, with a strong aptitude for problem-solving and innovative thinking. As a Team Lead, you will be responsible for managing a team of 5 to 10 developers, coordinating with cross-functional teams, and communicating effectively with clients. You will also play a key role in ensuring the quality and timely delivery of projects while maintaining a positive and collaborative team environment.

Key Responsibilities:

- Team Management:
- Lead, mentor, and guide a team of 5 to 10 developers, ensuring the effective allocation of tasks and resources.
- Foster a collaborative and positive team environment, promoting teamwork and continuous improvement.
- Provide technical direction and support, ensuring best practices and coding standards are followed.
- Conduct regular one-on-one meetings with team members, providing performance feedback and career development guidance.

- Technical Leadership:

- Utilize your expertise in Java programming to oversee the development and implementation of software solutions.
- Leverage the JPOS framework for processing financial transactions and ensure its efficient integration.
- Ensure the development of high-quality, scalable, and maintainable RESTful web services.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, applying problem-solving techniques to mitigate roadblocks.

- Client and Cross-Team Collaboration:





- Act as the primary technical liaison between internal teams and clients, ensuring clear communication of project goals, timelines, and expectations.
- Participate in client calls and meetings, discussing technical requirements, progress updates, and potential solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (QA, DevOps, Business Analysts) to ensure smooth project execution and delivery.

- Project Delivery:

- Take ownership of the end-to-end software development lifecycle, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery of projects.
- Manage and track the progress of tasks within the team, mitigating risks and addressing issues proactively.
- Continuously evaluate and improve development processes to increase team efficiency and effectiveness.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

- Technical Expertise:
- Proficiency in Java programming with hands-on experience in designing, developing, and maintaining applications.
- Solid experience working with the JPOS framework for transaction processing in the financial domain.
- Strong knowledge of RESTful web services and API development.
- Experience with debugging, performance optimization, and using problem-solving techniques to resolve complex issues.

- Leadership and Communication:

- Proven experience leading small to medium-sized development teams (5 to 10 people).




- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to lead client calls and provide regular status updates on project progress, risks, and issues.
- Smart, proactive thinker with a solutions-oriented mindset and the ability to work under pressure.

- Problem-Solving and Analytical Skills:

- Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen ability to identify issues and design innovative solutions.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to think critically and provide technical solutions that align with business needs.

- Additional Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 3 to 5 years of experience in a software development role, with at least 1-2 years in a team lead or supervisory capacity.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and working in an Agile environment.
- Experience with version control systems like Git or SVN.
- Experience with databases (SQL/NoSQL) and cloud-based platforms.
