Responsible for maintenance, repair, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement of tools, molds, dies, jigs, fixtures, and related equipment to ensure smooth production operations and minimize downtime.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance of tools, molds, dies, jigs, and fixtures.
- Diagnose and resolve tooling issues to reduce machine downtime.
- Inspect tools for wear and damage and recommend repairs or replacements.
- Coordinate with production and quality teams to ensure tooling performance.
- Maintain maintenance records, reports, and tool history.
- Monitor tool life and implement improvement plans to enhance productivity.
- Ensure availability of spare parts and maintenance consumables.
- Support current tool trials, modifications, and installations.
- Follow safety procedures and maintain housekeeping standards.
- Assist in root cause analysis and corrective actions for tooling failures.
