Role & responsibilities

- Check GRN as per Invoice.
- Check the product functions.
- Check & maintain in process documents.
- Monthly Rejection entry in SAP.
- Maintained detail record of instruments.
- Raw material, Bought Out, Semi Finish Material inspection.
- Doing first part approval & patrol inspection.
- Systems- ISO and internal systems
- Customer Complaints- Corrective and Preventive Measures.
- Vendor Visit Plan & implementation. Vendor analysis - Vendor rating on the basis of quality parameters
- All departmental SOPs to be follow
- Prepare KPI & send to concerns in time frame.

Research and Development:-

- Conduct research on new materials, technologies, and processes to enhance injection moulding efficiency and product quality.
- Develop innovative solutions to improve mould design, material usage, and production techniques.
- Lead training of assemblers, leads and other technicians for new processes developed by recent product development teams.
- Problem solving, operation monitoring; experience with Solid works, Auto CAD, Mould flow; ability to understand molding machine , Maintain Injection Mold Standards

Product and Process Optimization:-

- Collaborate with design and technical teams to optimize product designs for manufacturability.
- Perform mould flow analysis and simulations to identify and resolve potential issues in the moulding process.
- Assist design and development projects for new products, product/process changes and enhancements including related testing, prototypes, tooling and fixtures.

Material Development and Testing:-





- Evaluate and select materials for specific applications based on strength, durability, cost, and compliance with industry standards.
- Conduct material testing and validation to ensure quality and performance.
- Testing raw martial MFI & Density.
- Perform routine and non-routine testing to produce reliable and precise data to support product development investigations. Testing to include mechanical properties. Prepare summaries of test results in graphical and written formats.

Tooling and Mould Design:-

- Provide specialist technical advices and support on all aspects of Tool design, Manufacturing, Testing
- Responsible for new drawings/drawing modifications

Cost Management

- Identify cost-saving opportunities in materials, processes, and tooling without compromising quality.
- Analyze the cost-effectiveness of new technologies and materials before implementation.

Documentation and Reporting ;-

- Maintain detailed records of R&D; activities, including experiments, test results, and project progress.
- Prepare technical reports, patents, and white papers to document innovations and findings.
- Properly maintain ISO Documents: i) Master List of Drawings ii) PDDH iii) Proto Register & sample tested iv) Engineering change note notice v)



Engineering change implementation check sheet.
- Responsible for all documents (R & D) , as well as KPI
- Prepare R & D meetings MOM
- Responsible for Key Performance Indicators
- Keep detailed engineering notebook notes and experiment documentation
- Co-ordinate with purchase and Tool room for quotation approval with management

Monitoring:-

- Mentioned the status of material in the GRN.
- Ensuring product testing as per BIS (ISI standards).
- Maintained document as per frequency.
- Maintain calibration certificate as per frequency.
- Maintaining deviation form.
- Preparation and maintenance of all in process quality records ( VD,WI )
- Maintain the necessary quality records.
- Responsible for overall internal quality & quality system.
- Prepare sampling plan
- Up keeping of test equipment’s and machines – requirement, calibration and preventive maintenance.
- Validation – New products and processes
- Regulatory – BIS, Weights and measures
- Maintain & update ISO documentation time to time
- Responsible for all transactions of FPTRJE
- Support prototype and pilot production of new products, product changes and enhancements in coordination with the manufacturing and Quality Control functions.
- Coordinate work with outside vendors and internal personnel including material procurement and testing.
- Assist in product quality assurance including documentation, testing and inspection, product and process development, and non-conforming product investigations.
