Position Summary

Antardhwani is a dedicated support group focused to promote awareness about the effective management of Ankylosing Spondylitis (AS) and Rheumatoid Arthritis (RA). Driven by its mission to connect patients, facilitate shared experiences, and promote awareness about the effective management of AS and RA, Antardhwani brings together a diverse network of rheumatologists, physical therapists, wellness experts, and patients. Together, they form a holistic support ecosystem that empowers individuals through education, empathy, and expert care.

Antardhwani operates as a CSR initiative of HitechDigital, a global leader in outsourcing solutions, and reflects the organizations deep commitment to healthcare advocacy and community well-being. Headquartered in Ahmedabad, India, Antardhwani also operates support centers in Ahmedabad and Jaipur, serving as regional hubs for patient outreach and care.

We are seeking Volunteer Mental Health Counselors who are passionate about emotional wellness and community healing. As a counselor,



you will provide one-on-one support and group guidance to individuals navigating emotional distress, anxiety, trauma, or life transitions.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct empathetic one-on-one counseling sessions (virtual or in-person).
- Facilitate or co-facilitate group therapy and support sessions.
- Maintain confidentiality and ethical boundaries in all interactions.
- Develop short-term support plans and guide individuals to coping strategies.
- Refer critical or high-risk cases to licensed professionals (when applicable).
- Collaborate with support group coordinators and mental health advisors.
- Contribute to awareness initiatives, webinars, or mental health campaigns.

Qualifications & Experience

- Graduate or postgraduate degree in Clinical Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or related field.
- Prior experience in counseling, therapy, helplines, or peer support.
- Basic understanding of mental health conditions, trauma-informed care, and self-care practices.
- Proficiency in English and/or regional language(s).
- Ability to commit time consistently for scheduled sessions.
