Position Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced and proactive Civil Site Engineer to oversee engineering and construction operations at our project sites. In this role, you will bridge the gap between design and physical execution, leading engineering teams, managing subcontractors, and ensuring that structural integrity, safety, and quality standards are flawlessly met. The ideal candidate brings a strong background in large-scale structural project management, deep technical expertise, and exceptional leadership skills.

Core Responsibilities

Technical & Site Leadership

- Project Execution: Lead day-to-day engineering and construction activities on-site, ensuring all work strictly complies with architectural drawings, structural blueprints, and technical specifications.
- Setting Out & Surveying: Supervise and verify precise site surveying, leveling, and setting out of critical data points before and during the construction process.
- Engineering Problem-Solving: Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve complex engineering challenges or design discrepancies on the ground in real-time, coordinating with design teams as necessary.

Quality Assurance & Safety

- QA/QC Enforcement: Oversee rigorous quality control procedures; manage the testing of in office materials (concrete, steel, soil mechanics) to guarantee code compliance.
- HSE Compliance: Champion strict Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) protocols across the site, ensuring zero-incident targets are maintained and all personnel use correct PPE.

Management & Operations

- Subcontractor Management: Coordinate and manage specialized subcontractors and large labor crews,



assessing their productivity and the quality of their deliverables.
- Progress Tracking: Maintain detailed daily site diaries, track material inventories, and compile comprehensive weekly/monthly progress reports for senior project stakeholders.
- Material & Resource Planning: Anticipate resource bottlenecks and manage the timely procurement and deployment of materials and equipment on-site.

Key Requirements & Qualifications

- Education: Bachelors degree ( ) in Civil Engineering. A master’s degree in Construction Management is a plus.
- Experience: years of direct field experience in civil engineering execution, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or senior capacity.
- Technical Proficiency:
- Advanced capability in reading complex structural layouts and engineering schematics.
- Practical experience with surveying equipment (e.g., Total Station) and engineering software (AutoCAD, MS Project, or Primavera P6).
- Deep understanding of local building regulations, structural codes, and concrete technology.

- Soft Skills: Outstanding team leadership, assertive conflict-resolution abilities, and transparent communication skills to navigate conversations between executive project managers and on-site labor crews.
