ELV-BMS Project Engineer

Key Responsibilities

- Execute ELV and BMS projects end-to-end from site survey to commissioning and client handover.
- Supervise installation, testing, and commissioning of CCTV, Fire Alarm, Access Control, PA/VA, and BMS systems.
- Coordinate seamlessly with clients, consultants, vendors, and internal teams to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.
- Prepare BOQs, technical submittals, shop drawings, as-built drawings, and project documentation.
- Monitor timelines, budgets, and deliverables proactively mitigating risks and delays.
- Conduct site inspections and enforce quality, safety, and compliance standards.
- Troubleshoot technical challenges during installation and commissioning phases.
- Ensure strict adherence to project specs, industry standards (IS, NEC, NFPA), and client expectations.
- Support project planning, resource mobilization, and regular progress reporting.

Qualifications

- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical, Electronics Communication, Instrumentation, Automation, or related Engineering discipline.




- 2 5 years of hands-on experience in ELV/BMS project execution including site supervision and commissioning.
- Robust working knowledge of ELV systems and BMS platforms (e.g., Niagara, Tridium, Johnson Controls, Siemens Desigo).
- Proficient in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel for BOQs and scheduling).
- Proven track record in BOQ preparation, site execution, QA/QC, and client coordination.
- Experience in testing, troubleshooting, and commissioning of ELV systems.
- Fundamental understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, VLANs, etc.) especially for BMS integration.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills with a solutions-oriented mindset.
