Essential duties and responsibilities

- Overseeing Clinical and Service Quality monitors across the hospital
- Conduct internal and external audits as per the quality calendar and provides appropriate feedback to the departments by having management meetings.
- Monitoring and tracking of all quality indicators for each department and provides appropriate feedback to concerned departments.
- Co-ordinating in implementation of continuous quality improvement projects and clinical audits, so as to systematically evaluate and meet patient care needs
- Revision of policies, procedures and SOPs in consultation with the departmental HODs as and when required
- Analysis of incident reports using proper RCA tools and to plan action for the incidents.
- Achieving, sustaining NABH, JCI and other accreditations
- Monitoring and regulating committee meetings and minutes to be circulated to concerned members
- Represent the department in committee meetings of the hospital.
- Ensure the overall activities related to quality of the hospital to meet the requirement of quality management, health safety and legal stipulations
- Design,



develops and implements the quality plan strategies that ensure productive and effective utilization of the department resources
- Discuss the findings of the daily rounds done with the management
- Conducting patient safety awareness programs
- Regularly updating and incorporating new guidelines in organization based on evidence-based practices, new literature on quality improvement.
- Ensuring of quality assurance programme across the organization.
- Verification and validation of quality indicators formulated.
- Training of HCWs on continuous quality improvement aspect.
