Accounts & Executive Assistant AI-Enabled Equity Research Trainee

Key Responsibilities

1. Accounting & Finance (40%)

- Maintain books of accounts using Tally Prime.
- Record day-to-day accounting transactions.
- Prepare bank reconciliations and cash flow statements.
- Generate GST reports and assist in GST compliance.
- Maintain purchase, sales, expense, and payment records.
- Coordinate with Chartered Accountants for statutory compliance.
- Assist in preparing MIS reports and financial summaries.
- Maintain vendor, customer, and investment records.
- Handle invoicing, receipts, reimbursements, and petty cash.

2. Executive Assistance (20%)

- Prepare meeting agendas, minutes, and follow-up action trackers.
- Organize travel, accommodation, and logistics.
- Maintain confidential documents and digital filing systems.
- Conduct internet and business research as required.

3. AI-Assisted Equity Research (40%)
(Training will be provided.)

- Learn the fundamentals of equity research and financial statement analysis.
- Use AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, etc.) to:
- Summarize annual reports.
- Analyze earnings calls.
- Research industries and competitors.
- Prepare company research notes.
- Build investment summaries.
- Track market news and developments.

- Collect financial and operational data from public sources.
- Maintain watchlists of listed companies.
- Assist in preparing investment presentations and valuation models.




- Learn financial modelling, valuation techniques, and investment thesis development.
- Monitor portfolio companies and prepare periodic performance updates.

Desired Skills
Essential

- Working knowledge of Tally Prime.
- Basic accounting and bookkeeping knowledge.
- Strong MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Willingness to learn recent technologies.

Preferred

- Interest in stock markets and investing.
- Familiarity with AI tools such as ChatGPT or NotebookLM or Claude.
- Basic understanding of financial statements.
- Experience with Google Workspace and Microsoft Office.
- Exposure to GST, TDS, and statutory compliance.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com), BBA, Finance, or a related field.
- 13 years of accounting or executive assistant experience preferred.
- Fresh graduates with excellent aptitude and a strong interest in investing may also be considered.
