We are seeking an experienced Team Lead - Australian Tax Accountant to manage client engagements, ensure compliance with ATO regulations, and guide a team to deliver accurate and timely outcomes. This is a leadership role with direct exposure to Australian taxation standards and outsourcing operations.

Key Responsibilities

- Oversee preparation and review of Australian tax returns (individuals, companies, trusts, partnerships).
- Ensure compliance with ATO requirements, BAS, GST, and deadlines.
- Manage client relationships with professionalism and clarity.
- Supervise and mentor tax staff, ensuring quality control and efficiency.
- Provide technical guidance on complex tax matters
- Collaborate with leadership to improve processes and workflows.

Preferred Candidate Profile

- CA/CPA qualified (or equivalent).
- 3 to 7 years of experience in Australian taxation.




- Strong knowledge of ATO compliance, tax legislation and regulations.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver under deadlines.
- Experience in outsourcing/offshore team management is an advantage.
