We are seeking a motivated and hands-on PLC/SCADA Automation Engineer with experience in industrial automation, PLC programming, SCADA/HMI development, and commissioning activities. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing automation solutions, testing applications, supporting site commissioning, and ensuring seamless integration of industrial control systems.
Key Responsibilities

- Develop, configure, and maintain PLC, SCADA, and HMI applications using platforms such as Siemens, Schneider Electric, Phoenix Contact, and Rockwell Automation.
- Design, program, test, and troubleshoot PLC, SCADA, and HMI systems based on project requirements.
- Configure and integrate industrial communication protocols including MODBUS, Ethernet/IP, PROFINET, PROFIBUS, OPC UA, and OPC DA.
- Perform application testing, Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT), Site Acceptance Testing (SAT), and commissioning activities.
- Provide in office support for installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, and maintenance of automation equipment.
- Assist in panel testing, control panel wiring verification, and signal validation.
- Interface with field devices including various types of sensors, transmitters, actuators, and control signals.
- Diagnose and resolve automation system issues during development and commissioning.
- Prepare technical documentation, test reports, and commissioning records.




- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely project execution and successful system delivery.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, Mechatronics, or Automation Engineering.
- Hands-on experience in PLC, SCADA, and HMI programming.
- Experience with Siemens PLCs and Schneider Electric PLCs is mandatory. Knowledge of Rockwell Automation and Phoenix Contact platforms is an added advantage.
- Strong understanding of industrial communication protocols:
- MODBUS (RTU/TCP)

- OPC DA

- Knowledge of industrial sensors, field instruments, digital/analog signals, and control systems.
- Basic understanding of electrical control panels, wiring, and panel testing.
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Willingness to travel for site commissioning and customer support as required.

Preferred Experience

- Experience: 25 years in Industrial Automation, PLC/SCADA/HMI Development, and Commissioning.
- Experience in manufacturing, process automation, water treatment, oil & gas, or similar industrial sectors is preferred.
