- Requirements Gathering
- Engage with stakeholders (business users, operations, compliance, etc.) to understand functional and non-functional requirements.
- Conduct workshops, interviews, and process walkthroughs to document current vs. target state.
- Translate business needs into functional specifications, use cases, and user stories.
- Domain-Specific Analysis: a. Core Banking System (CBS) Analyse modules like Customer Information, Accounts, Deposits, Payments, General Ledger, and Treasury. Work on enhancements, integrations, or migrations in CBS platforms (e.g., Finacle, Temenos, Flex cube). Ensure compliance with regulatory and reporting standards (e.g., KYC, AML, Basel,IFRS).
- b. Loan Management System (LMS) Define and manage functional specs for loan disbursement, repayment schedules,interest calculation, NPA management, restructuring, and closures. Ensure accurate configuration of loan products, repayment plans, and moratorium conditions.
- c. Loan Origination System (LOS) Support business processes from lead generation to loan approval (e.g., application intake, credit assessment, scoring, documentation,



approval workflows). Align LOS workflows with credit risk policies, regulatory guidelines, and internal approval structures.
- Functional Design & Solutioning Create Functional Design Documents (FDDs) and review Technical Design Documents (TDDs). Collaborate with solution architects and developers to align business requirements with system capabilities. Participate in product configuration and ensure parameterization aligns with business rules.
- Testing & Validation Prepare test scenarios, test cases, and perform Functional Testing / UAT support. Validate system outputs such as amortization schedules, transaction entries, and reports. Ensure end-to-end process flow across modules like CBS LOS LMS...
