Job Summary:

We are looking for a dynamic, hands-on Regional Manager to oversee showroom operations across the Western Line of Mumbai and select additional cities. The ideal candidate will be a strong people manager who can lead a team of 40-45 staff, ensure operational discipline, drive footfalls in coordination with marketing, maintain world-class showroom standards, and represent field operations directly to the Directors. This is an operations + people-leadership role prior experience in the optical industry is not necessary, but strong retail/multi-outlet management experience is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Team Management & People Leadership

- Manage, mentor, and motivate a team of 4045 employees across multiple showroom locations.
- Monitor daily attendance, punctuality, and adherence to company discipline policies.
- Conduct regular team meetings, briefings, and performance reviews.
- Build a culture of accountability, ownership, and high morale across all outlets.
- Identify underperformance early and take corrective coaching action.

2. Systems, Controls & Monitoring

- Implement and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs) across all showrooms.
- Monitor daily/weekly operational reports (sales, stock, footfall, staff attendance).
- Ensure compliance with company systems, cash handling procedures, and internal controls.
- Conduct surprise/scheduled store audits to check adherence to processes.
- Flag and resolve operational gaps or process breakdowns promptly.

3. Marketing Coordination & Footfall Generation

- Work closely with the marketing team to plan and execute local marketing activities.




- Drive both online (digital campaigns, social media leads) and offline (in-store promotions, local tie-ups, events) footfall generation strategies.
- Track footfall-to-conversion ratios and share actionable feedback with marketing.
- Coordinate local activations, camps, or promotional events to boost walk-ins.

4. Stakeholder & Client Management

- Conduct regular physical meetings and reviews with Directors to update on regional performance, challenges, and plans.
- Be the first point of escalation for client queries/complaints and ensure prompt, satisfactory resolution.
- Build strong client relationships to encourage repeat business and referrals.
- Represent the brand professionally in all external and internal interactions.

5. Recruitment & HR Coordination

- Partner with the HR department to identify manpower gaps and recruit fresh talent as required.
- Support onboarding and induction of new staff into company culture and SOPs.
- Provide input on staff performance for appraisals, incentives, and disciplinary matters.

6. Showroom Standards & Cleanliness

- Ensure all showrooms maintain world-class standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and visual merchandising.




- Conduct regular showroom inspections and ensure timely rectification of any lapses.
- Ensure showroom ambience, layout, and presentation are consistent with brand standards across all locations.

7. Multi-City & Travel Management

- Manage operations across Western Line Mumbai and additional assigned cities.
- Travel regularly between locations to ensure consistent oversight and support.
- Ensure uniformity of processes, discipline, and standards across all regions under purview.

- Solid people management and team motivation skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (comfortable presenting to Directors/senior management)
- Strong process orientation — systems, controls, and compliance mindset
- Problem-solving and client-handling ability
- Basic understanding of marketing/footfall metrics
- Willingness to travel extensively across cities
- Proficiency in MS Excel/Office for reporting and data tracking

Qualifications & Experience:

- Graduate (any stream); MBA preferred but not mandatory
- 6–10+ years of experience in retail/multi-outlet operations management
- Proven experience managing teams of 30+ employees across multiple locations
- Experience in optical retail is NOT required — candidates from retail, FMCG, fashion, F&B;, or similar multi-location retail backgrounds are welcome

Other Requirements:

- Willingness to travel frequently within Mumbai (Western Line) and other assigned cities
- Ability to work flexible hours based on business/showroom needs
- Own vehicle preferred (for inter-city/showroom travel)
