What we need:

Reporting to the Quality & IST Manager, the role will require the candidate to lead, manage,



and deliver Mechanical Systems Commissioning activities for large-scale Liquid Cooled Data Center projects.

The role involves planning, execution, supervision, testing validation, and documentation of mechanical systems to ensure full operational readiness, redundancy validation, and compliance with mission-critical performance standards.

Key responsibilities: :

Develop detailed Commissioning Plans, procedures, scripts, and schedules for mechanical systems in liquid-cooled environments.

Manage end-to-end commissioning process including:

- Pre-functional checks
- Flushing & cleaning validation
- Hydro & pressure testing
- Functional Performance Testing (FPT)
- Integrated Systems Testing (IST)
- Final handover

Commission mechanical systems including:

- Chillers
- Cooling Towers
- Primary & Secondary CHW Pumps
- CRAH Units
- CDUs (Coolant Distribution Units)
- Expansion & Pressurization Systems

Validate chilled water loop integrity including:

- Flow balancing
- Delta-T verification
- Redundancy switching (N+1 / 2N architecture)

Witness and coordinate FAT & SAT for chillers, pumps, CDUs, and control panels.

Coordinate with BMS/EPMS teams to ensure proper controls integration and sequence of operations compliance.

Ensure compliance with international standards such as:

- ASHRAE
- Uptime Institute
- IEC





Lead Integrated Systems Testing (IST) scenarios including:

- Power failure simulation
- Chiller trip scenarios
- Pump failure & auto changeover
- Load testing

Troubleshoot system issues, identify root causes, and ensure corrective actions before handover.

Deliver complete commissioning documentation including:

- Commissioning scripts
- Test reports
- As-built verification
- O&M; readiness documentation

Interface with client, consultants, contractors, and vendors during commissioning and handover stages.

- Actively champion and comply with policies and procedures related to workplace health & safety, information security, environmental, quality, and energy management systems, incident management, and applicable legal and regulatory requirements.

The successful candidate:

- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent).
- 8–12 years of experience in Mechanical Commissioning of large infrastructure projects.
- Mandatory 5+ years experience in Data Center Projects till IST completion.
- Strong understanding of:

System design & balancing

Sequence of Operations (SOO)

Liquid cooling technology for high-density racks

Redundancy and Tier III/IV concepts

- Experience in mission-critical troubleshooting and integrated testing.
- Robust documentation, coordination, and client-facing skills.
- Commissioning certifications are advantageous.
- Willingness to travel as required.
- Site Presence – 80% Field & 20% Office.
