Role: Sr. Executive- Procurement
Location: Mumbai
Role Purpose
To manage sourcing and procurement initiatives across indirect and technology categories, support category planning and strategic sourcing activities, drive procurement analytics and governance initiatives, and deliver cost optimization, supplier value, and operational efficiency through effective stakeholder and vendor management.

1. Category Management & Strategic Sourcing
Manage procurement activities across:
- Human Resources (HR)
- Marketing & Communications

Key Responsibilities
- Partner with stakeholders to understand business requirements and procurement needs.
- Conduct spend analysis, demand assessment, and sourcing chance identification.
- Support development and execution of category sourcing strategies.
- Conduct market research, supplier discovery, and commercial benchmarking.
- Identify supplier consolidation, standardization, and cost optimization opportunities.
- Lead RFQs, RFPs, RFIs, and competitive bidding processes.
- Prepare commercial evaluations, TCO analysis, and supplier comparisons.
- Negotiate pricing, payment terms and SLAs
- Support supplier selection, and renewal management.
- Monitor supplier performance and savings delivery
2. Technology Procurement & IT Sourcing
Manage procurement activities across:
- Software & SaaS
- Cloud Services
- IT Infrastructure & Hardware
- Cybersecurity Solutions
- IT Managed Services
- Application Development & Support Services
Key Responsibilities
- Support end-to-end technology sourcing projects.
- Manage software renewals, licensing, and maintenance contracts.
- Conduct commercial analysis, benchmarking, and TCO assessments.
- Coordinate with IT, Information Security, Risk, and Finance teams.
- Support Vendor governance activities.
- Track supplier performance, SLA adherence, and service commitments.
- Identify opportunities for technology cost optimization and license rationalization.
3. Stakeholder Support & Business Partnering
- Act as a procurement partner to business stakeholders.
- Provide sourcing guidance and procurement best practices.
- Support budgeting and annual planning exercises.
- Assist stakeholders in balancing cost, quality, and service requirements.
- Facilitate corrective action plans for supplier performance issues.
- Support urgent and business-critical procurement requirements.
4. Vendor & Internal Escalation Management
- Resolve supplier performance, payment, contractual, and service-related issues.
- Manage procurement policy exceptions and sourcing escalations.
- Coordinate with Finance, Legal, Compliance, and business teams for issue resolution.
- Conduct root-cause analysis and track corrective actions.
- Facilitate vendor governance reviews and performance discussions.
- Ensure timely closure of procurement and supplier-related escalations.
5. Interior Projects & Infrastructure Procurement
(Time & Milestone Critical Projects)
- Manage procurement activities for office fit-outs, renovations, workplace expansion, and infrastructure projects.
- Lead RFQs/RFPs, commercial evaluations, and contractor/vendor selection.
- Track project milestones, budgets, and procurement deliverables.
- Coordinate with Administration, Facilities, Finance, Legal, and project stakeholders.
- Manage project-related risks, change requests, and supplier escalations.
- Ensure compliance with procurement policies, contractual obligations, and governance requirements.

Procurement Analytics, Governance & Compliance
- Prepare procurement MIS, spend dashboards, savings reports, and KPI trackers.
- Support procurement technology platforms and bidding systems.
- Maintain procurement documentation and governance records.
- Support vendor due diligence, compliance reviews, and risk assessments.
- Coordinate Internal, Statutory, Client, and Compliance Audit requirements.
- Support ESG reporting, supplier assessments, and sustainability initiatives.
- Maintain vendor master data quality and procurement data governance.
Desired Candidate Profile
Education
- MBA / PGDM in Supply Chain, Procurement, Operations, Finance, or Technology Management preferred.
- Graduate in Engineering, IT, Commerce, or Management.
Experience
- 4 to 8 years of procurement experience.
- Experience in indirect procurement and strategic sourcing activities.
- Exposure to technology procurement categories preferred.
- Hands-on experience in RFQs, RFPs and negotiations
- Experience in spend analysis, supplier benchmarking, and cost optimization initiatives.
- Exposure to procurement analytics, reporting, governance, and audit processes.
- Experience working with cross-functional stakeholders and supplier management.
