Role & responsibilities

- Ensure that company third party accreditations and systems are obtained and maintained (ISO 22000, BRC, NABL, Halal, Kosher, RSA, Organic certification, Sedex).
- Ensure all company policies, procedures, and work instructions are documented in a clear, simple and concise manner.
- Assist in the preparation of policies by providing management system related documents.
- Train all company personnel in the documented company policies.
- Identify relevant legislative requirements pertaining to products and processes.
- Control and maintain the company audit and risk assessment schedule.
- Conduct safety, quality and environmental system compliance audits.
- Ensure personnel have received appropriate training and are assessed as competent to perform tasks.
- Maintain the company library of compliance resources including standards.
- Support marketing in filling in the queries and questionnaires asked by customers pertinent to products and processes.




- Reviewing and designing specifications for the existing product or recent products which may be incorporated.
- Scheduling and facilitating internal Audits as per relevant frequencies described in various systems.
- report to top management on the QMS performance and where improvements are needed,
- Scheduling meetings and MRM’s as per prescribed frequency within various systems.
- Liaison with various accreditation bodies for timely external audits.
- Preparing and maintaining training calendar.
