- Manage end-to-end customs clearance operations for air cargo shipments, including filing shipping bills, bills of entry, and related documentation through ICEGATE, ECCS, and EDI platforms.
- Ensure compliance with customs regulations, verify shipment documentation, review tariff classifications, and coordinate with customs authorities for inspections, clearances, and dispute resolution.
- Lead and supervise customs clearance teams, drive SLA adherence, optimize resource allocation, and implement risk-control measures to ensure efficient cargo movement.
- Act as the key point of contact for clients, customs brokers, transporters, and internal stakeholders, providing shipment updates and resolving operational or regulatory issues.
- Key Requirements
- 3- 5 years of experience in Air Cargo Operations and Customs Clearance.
- Valid G-Card or F-Card certification with strong knowledge of Indian Customs regulations and clearance procedures.
- Proficiency in ICEGATE, ECCS, EDI systems, and MS Office applications.
- DG (Dangerous Goods) Certification preferred/mandatory.
- Strong leadership, stakeholder management, negotiation, compliance, and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to work in a field-based role at airport cargo terminals and customs facilities in a quick-paced operational environment.
