We have opening for Planning Engineer role for our Factory Location Rasayani, Near by Panvel, Navi Mumbai.

Designation :- Planning Engineer (Elevators Industry only)

Department: Projects / Installation / Production Planning

Reporting To: Project Manager / Operations Head / Factory Head

Location: Factory (Patalganga, Rasayani)

Working Days 6days

Please Note:- Bus Facility available from Khandeshwar railway station to factory.

Job Purpose

To plan, monitor, and control project schedules and production timelines, ensuring timely execution, optimal resource utilization, and adherence to committed delivery dates.

Key Responsibilities

1. Project / Production Planning

- Prepare detailed project schedules for installation and modernization projects.
- Develop monthly and weekly execution plans.
- Coordinate with Sales for order handover and timeline commitments.
- Plan production schedules in coordination with Factory (if applicable).
- Allocate manpower and material planning as per project requirement.

2. Monitoring & Progress Tracking

- Track project progress against planned schedule.
- Identify delays and highlight critical activities.
- Prepare variance analysis reports.




- Ensure corrective actions to minimize delays.
- Monitor site readiness before dispatch of materials.

3. Coordination & Follow-ups

- Coordinate with Purchase for material availability.
- Follow up with Stores for dispatch planning.
- Coordinate with Site Engineers and Supervisors.
- Ensure drawing approvals and site clearances are in place.

4. MIS & Reporting

- Prepare Daily / Weekly / Monthly progress reports.
- Maintain project tracking sheet.
- Submit delay analysis and recovery plan.
- Update management on project milestones.

5. Cost & Resource Optimization

- Track manpower productivity.
- Monitor project costing impact due to delays.
- Suggest measures to reduce idle time and wastage.

6. Documentation & Compliance

- Maintain proper documentation of project schedules.
- Ensure contractual timelines are monitored.
- Support audits and internal reviews.

Desired Candidate Profile

Education:

- Diploma / BE in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering

Experience:

- 3–8 years in Planning / Project Coordination
- Experience in Elevator / Construction / Manufacturing industry preferred

Technical Skills

- Solid knowledge of MS Excel
- Familiarity with MS Project / Primavera (preferred)
- Understanding of project lifecycle
- Good analytical and reporting skills
