- Role Description:

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented professional to join the Technology Team as Manager - Application Support. This role is pivotal in managing organization's overall business application landscape, and support with operational efficiency in focus. Key responsibilities include but not limited to understanding business requirements, coordination with application service providers and internal development team to maintain and support business applications, regulatory & business data requirements. Managing the Core Fund accounting system MFund+, is a key part of this role.
Responsibilities

Managing Fund Accounting System (MFund+)

- Assist the operational team with timely resolution of application issues in coordination with application vendor.
- Understanding business requirements, preparation of Business Requirement Document (BRD), execution, User Acceptance Testing and Production deployment.
- Ensuring uptime of application with optimal efficiency.

Regulatory and Business Data Management

- Assist in extraction of data and reports based on business and regulatory requirements and timely delivery of regulatory data.
- Automation of data extraction process wherever applicable.

Supporting Business Applications

- Assist the operational team with timely resolution of application issues in coordination with application vendor or internal development teams.
- Understanding business requirements, preparation of Business Requirement Document (BRD), execution, User Acceptance Testing and Production deployment.
- Ensuring uptime of applications with optimal efficiency.

Application Monitoring

- Monitoring the usage,



response time and uptime of application.
- First point of contact for all application related issues.

Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery

- Management of business applications at the DR environment, ensure data replication and assist the team in making the applications available during disaster scenarios.

Regulatory and Domain Awareness

- Stay updated on the regulatory requirements and its operational impact and ensuring implementation of the same as applicable.

Collaboration

- Assist the IT and internal audit team in audits.
- Work with other departments like IT Infrastructure, Security, Investment and Back-office operations to ensure operational uptime of business applications.

Skill Sets

- Foundational Knowledge: Basic understanding of Mutual Fund Operations, functioning of core applications, regulatory requirements and applications in AMC.
- Technical Knowledge: Proficient in Oracle Database Query, preparing backend queries for data extraction, understanding of fund accounting system Mfund Plus (backend and front-end functionalities).
- Technical Familiarity: Familiar with technologies (.Net Framework or any other development framework), databases like MS SQL/MySQL.
- Analytical Skills: Ability to conduct reviews, analyze data, and make objective evaluations.
- Communication: Solid written and verbal communication skills to interact with various stakeholders.
- Attention to Detail: Essential for maintaining accurate documentation and performing thorough assessments.
- Documentation Skills: Expert at using Word, Excel, PowerPoint and other such tools to create and maintain documents.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's / Master's degree in Computer Technology

Minimum 6-11 years of experience working in a Financial Services or equivalent organization, preferably in Asset Management Companies
