The Assistant Interior Designer (AID) will support the Design team in developing creative, customer-centric, and

execution-ready residential interior solutions. The role involves assisting in design conceptualization, preparing

technical drawings, coordinating with stakeholders, and ensuring timely delivery of design outputs.

This position is ideal for individuals who are passionate about interior design, possess strong technical skills, and are

Your Key Responsibilities

Design Development

- Assist in developing interior design concepts based on customer requirements and design briefs.
- Prepare layout plans, furniture layouts, elevations, sections, and detailed working drawings.
- Support the creation of mood boards, material palettes, and design presentations.
- Ensure designs are practical, aesthetically appealing, and aligned with project requirements.

Technical Documentation

- Prepare accurate AutoCAD drawings and design documentation.
- Assist in developing detailed design packages for project execution.• Ensure design revisions are updated and documented promptly.
- Maintain organized records of drawings, specifications, and project documentation.

Customer & Design Support

- Support Senior Designers during client meetings and design presentations.
- Assist customers in material selection, finishes, and product recommendations.
- Incorporate client feedback into design revisions while maintaining design standards.
- Ensure timely completion of assigned design deliverables.

Project Coordination

- Coordinate with Project Managers, Procurement, Site Execution teams, and vendors to support project

execution.

- Participate in site visits to understand execution requirements and resolve design-related queries.
- Ensure smooth communication between design and execution teams.

Design Quality & Continuous Learning





- Ensure all designs adhere to Bonito's quality standards and design guidelines.
- Stay updated on design trends, materials, finishes, and space-planning techniques.
- Contribute ideas to improve design quality and customer experience.
- Support continuous process improvements within the design function.

Performance & Metrics

- Track and contribute towards:
- Timely completion of design deliverables
- Accuracy of technical drawings
- Reduction in design revisions and rework
- Customer Satisfaction (CSAT)
- First-Time-Right Design Outputs
- Ensure adherence to project timelines and internal design processes.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

- Work closely with Design, Sales, Procurement, Project Management, and Execution teams.
- Support seamless handover of approved designs for project execution.
- Collaborate effectively to ensure successful project outcomes and customer delight.

Experience & Education

- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related discipline.
- 1-3 years of experience in residential interior design is preferred.
- Fresh graduates with a strong portfolio and technical proficiency may also be considered.• Basic understanding of residential interior design principles, materials, and construction details.
