About the Role

We are looking for a creative Jewellery Merchandiser with a strong design background to join our design team in Mumbai. This is a dual-function role: you will drive product assortment strategy while actively contributing to new product development. Reporting to the Design Head, you will be the critical link between market trends, design direction, and product execution ensuring our collections are both commercially compelling and creatively inspired.

Key Responsibilities:

Merchandising :

- Plan and manage product assortment across jewellery categories, balancing design aesthetics, style breadth, and price architecture.
- Analyse sales performance, inventory data, and market trends to inform buying and ranging decisions.
- Conduct competitor benchmarking to identify white spaces and opportunities within the market.
- Collaborate with the sales team to translate customer and retail feedback into actionable merchandising strategy.
- Manage seasonal range plans and oversee the product lifecycle from concept brief through to launch.

Current Product Development





- Partner closely with the Design Head and design team throughout the NPD process from initial concept briefs to final product sign-off.
- Prepare detailed product briefs covering design direction, material specifications, target price points, and reference imagery.
- Coordinate with manufacturers and vendors on sampling, prototype reviews, and production feasibility assessments.
- Maintain NPD trackers and ensure milestones are met across the development pipeline.
- Evaluate prototypes and samples against design intent and commercial targets; provide clear, structured feedback.
- Support the creation of line sheets, lookbooks, and seasonal collection presentation.

Required

- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in jewellery merchandising, product development, or a closely related role.
- A design background degree or diploma in Jewellery Design or an equivalent field.
