Role Overview: We are looking for a knowledgeable and personable Lighting Counsellor to guide clients in selecting the right lighting solutions for their spaces, blending technical expertise with design sensibility to deliver an exceptional customer experience.

Salary: 15K-20K stipend during the 3-month probation period (only for freshers). The salary after that will be 25K-50K (based on experience).
Key Responsibilities
- Consult with clients (homeowners, architects, interior designers) to understand their space, style, and lighting needs.
- Recommend appropriate lighting solutions based on aesthetics, function, and budget.
- Explain technical aspects of lighting (lumens, colour temperature, CRI, beam angles, and dimming systems) in an accessible way.
- Coordinate with the design and sales teams to ensure smooth order fulfillment.
- Stay updated on lighting trends, current products, and technologies
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, including post-sale support
Requirements
- Strong understanding of lighting fundamentals (types of fixtures, technical specifications, lighting design principles)
- Excellent communication and client-facing/consultative sales skills
- Background in interior design, architecture, electrical engineering, or lighting design preferred
- Ability to read floor plans or basic layouts is a plus
- 1-3 years of experience in lighting, interior design, or retail consultation preferred
