Job Title: Corporate Lawyer (International/Cross-border Corporate Transaction Expert)

Job Description: Buddtree Management Group is seeking highly qualified and motivated Corporate Lawyers with 3-6years of professional experience in corporate advisory including but not limited to Tax, Labor, M&A;, Cross border transaction, Compliances, and Dispute resolution.

We are particularly interested in candidates from top-tier universities. This role will focus on providing strategic legal solutions to corporate clients, with an emphasis on corporate advisory and tax matters. The positions are primarily available in Chennai, with occasional travel to other locations, including Korea.

Role & responsibilities

- Provide expert legal advice on corporate law, including mergers, acquisitions, compliance, and corporate governance.
- Offer specialized legal advisory services in tax and labor law, ensuring comprehensive solutions for our clients.
- Draft, review, and negotiate various contracts, agreements, and other legal documentation to protect the interests of clients.
- Ensure full compliance with relevant local, state, and federal laws, including cross-border legal regulations.
- Represent clients in legal proceedings, dispute resolution,



and negotiations, where necessary.
- Collaborate with internal teams and clients to facilitate business operations and legal compliance.
- Stay updated on evolving corporate, tax, and labor laws to ensure that clients receive cutting-edge legal advice.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Law (LLB) and Masters in law (Any specialization) from a recognized institution.
- Practicing CS also preferred.
- 1-6 years of experience in corporate legal affairs.
- Expertise in corporate law, including mergers, acquisitions, compliance, and corporate governance highly preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
- Proficiency in English and regional languages (preferred).
- Robust communication and IT skills, including proficiency in legal research tools and software.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience working with Korean companies in India.
- Demonstrated ability to handle complex legal issues and provide strategic legal advice.
