Brief Summary

In this role, you will support the Head of Merchandise in strategic planning, data analysis, and performance monitoring. You will play a crucial role in driving inventory optimization, assortment planning, sales analysis, and market trends evaluation. The ideal candidate has a robust background in retail planning, analytics, and a passion for the fine jewellery industry.

Brief Job Description (just an indicative list and not limited to the following)

1. Collaborate with the Head of Planning and Analytics to develop and execute sales plans and revenue KPIs

2. Monitor and analyze market trends, design rankings, and competitive activities to provide actionable insights.

3. Assist in managing the product lifecycle and analyzing discount data for pricing and promotional strategies.

4. Contribute to the creation of margin and promotion calendars, ensuring alignment with business objectives.

5. Assist in stock liquidation processes, including Return to Vendor (RTV) and melting activities.

6.



Assist in monitoring and controlling sales and order projections to ensure accuracy and alignment with targets.

7. Stay updated on industry benchmarks, including gold rate, diamond rate, buyback, exchange, and making charges.

8. Collaborate with the e-commerce team to support web merchandising and promotion strategies.

9. Monitor margin and revenue leakages across the value chain

10. Identify margin and discount optimization opportunities

Skill Required

1. Bachelor's degree in business, merchandising, analytics, or a related field.

2. Proven experience in retail planning, analytics and portfolio management.

3. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with proficiency in data analysis tools.

4. Excellent organizational and project management abilities, with a focus on attention to detail.

5. Knowledge of the fine jewellery industry, including market trends and customer preferences.

6. Familiarity with planning and analytics software and tools.

7. Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
