Automation Lead

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Automation Lead with solid expertise in test automation strategy, framework development, and execution across enterprise systems.

The role focuses on driving end-to-end automation, improving test coverage, accelerating releases, and enabling AI-driven quality insights. The candidate will lead automation delivery, support testing governance, and ensure UAT readiness and client sign-off coordination.

Hands-on experience with Robot Framework is mandatory.

Base Location: Mumbai

Key Responsibilities

1. Automation Strategy & Leadership

- Define and implement automation strategy across:
- Functional, API, and regression testing

- Establish:

- Automation frameworks, coding standards, and reusable components

- Drive:

- Automation coverage, stability, and ROI metrics

- Identify automation opportunities across business flows

2. Test Automation Development

- Design, develop, and maintain:
- Scalable automation frameworks using Robot Framework

- Automate:

- Functional and regression test scenarios

- Ensure:

- Script reusability, maintainability, and robustness

- Integrate automation into:

- CI/CD pipelines for continuous testing

3. System & Integration Testing





- Validate end-to-end system workflows across:
- Distributed and integrated applications

- Support testing across:

- APIs, batch systems, and UI layers

- Contribute to:

- Integration validation and data flow verification

4. Testing, Validation & Quality Governance

- Own:
- End-to-end testing lifecycle (SIT, Integration, UAT support)

- Support:

- Test planning, scenario design, and execution

- Perform:

- Data validation and reconciliation checks

- Lead:

- Defect triage, root cause analysis, and tracking

- Ensure:

- Quality deliverables and production readiness

5. AI-Enabled Automation & Insights

- Leverage AI tools for:
- Self-healing automation
- Smart test execution and failure analysis

- Drive:

- Intelligent test data handling and optimization

- Improve:

- Defect detection and test efficiency using AI insights

6. Stakeholder Management & Client Sign-off

- Collaborate with:
- BAs, Developers, QA teams, and Business stakeholders

- Provide:

- Automation status, coverage reports, and insights

- Drive UAT readiness and client sign-off, including:

- Validation reports and defect closure tracking
- Ensuring all critical scenarios are tested

- Ensure:

- Smooth coordination for production readiness
