Job Description
- Preparation and review of monthly Financial Statements & MIS including Balance Sheet, Profit & Loss Account, Cash Flow Statement, and management reports.
- Independently manage the Finance, Accounting, Treasury, Reporting, and Compliance functions of the organization.
- Preparation of monthly stock movement reports including Opening Stock, Inward, Outward, Consumption, and Closing Stock.
- Daily monitoring and reconciliation of Debtors, Creditors, Bank Accounts, and other key ledger balances.
- Preparation of daily, weekly, and monthly Cash Flow Reports and forecasts.
- Manage working capital requirements and ensure optimum utilization of funds.
- Handle banking operations including fund transfers, banking transactions, reconciliations, and coordination with banks.
- Monitor project-wise inflows, outflows, profitability, and working capital requirements.
- Preparation and analysis of Project P&L; reports, including Budget vs Actual and Projected vs Actual performance.
- Ensure timely month-end and year-end closure of books of accounts.
- Coordinate with Statutory Auditors, Internal Auditors, Tax Auditors, and other external consultants.
- Prepare audit schedules, reconciliations, and supporting documents required during audits.
- Preparation of statements, reports, schedules, and information required for tax audits, GST filings, and statutory assessments.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, internal controls, and company policies.
- Support management with financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and strategic decision-making.
- Lead and manage a team of 4–5 finance professionals and drive process improvements across finance functions.
- Work closely with Operations, SCM, Projects, and Management teams to ensure financial discipline and accurate reporting.
Requirements
- CA / CA Inter qualification.
- 3–7 years of experience in Accounting, Finance, Treasury, Audit, and Financial Management.
- Strong knowledge of Accounting Standards, Financial Reporting, GST, Income Tax, TDS, and Statutory Compliance.
- Ability to independently handle the complete Finance function with minimal supervision.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and financial planning skills.
- Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and ERP systems.
- Exposure to Manufacturing, EPC, Project-Based, or Technology organizations preferred.
- Experience in Budgeting, Forecasting, and MIS Reporting.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to manage and mentor a team effectively.
- Comfortable working in a quick-paced startup environment with cross-functional collaboration.
- Working knowledge of Oracle NetSuite will be an added advantage.
