Our client is a well-established, mid-sized, multi-speciality hospital in Mumbai with a strong reputation for clinical excellence, patient care, and ethical healthcare delivery.

As part of its next phase of growth, modernization, and operational transformation, the hospital is seeking an accomplished Chief Executive Officer to lead the institution.

Role Overview

The CEO will be responsible for the overall leadership, management, administration, and performance of the hospital. Reporting to the Board, the incumbent will drive strategic growth, operational excellence, financial performance, patient experience, clinical governance, and organizational capability while ensuring the highest standards of quality, compliance, and healthcare delivery.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide overall strategic and operational leadership of the hospital.
- Drive sustainable growth in revenue, profitability, occupancy, and market share.
- Ensure seamless day-to-day operations across clinical, nursing, administrative, support, and business functions.
- Strengthen patient experience, service quality, and clinical outcomes.
- Lead modernization initiatives including digital transformation, technology adoption, process automation, and infrastructure enhancement.
- Build strong relationships with leading doctors, consultants, healthcare professionals, regulators, insurers, and key stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with all statutory, regulatory, accreditation, quality, and governance requirements.
- Drive operational efficiencies, cost optimization, productivity improvements, and resource utilization.
- Develop and mentor a high-performing leadership team and foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and excellence.




- Partner closely with the Board to formulate and execute long-term strategic plans.

Candidate Profile

- Graduate from a reputed institution. Postgraduate qualifications in Management, Hospital Administration, Healthcare Management, or related disciplines will be preferred.
- 2535 years of overall experience with significant leadership responsibility in healthcare organizations.
- Proven experience as CEO, COO, Business Head, Hospital Administrator, or equivalent leadership role.
- Candidates currently serving as CEOs or COOs of mid-sized hospitals will be strongly preferred.
- Senior leaders operating as the number two or number three executive in large hospitals with 500+ beds will also be considered.
- Candidates from leading diagnostic, pathology, imaging, or integrated medical services organizations with substantial P&L; and operational leadership experience are encouraged to apply.
- Strong understanding of hospital operations, healthcare economics, clinical governance, patient services, quality systems, and regulatory frameworks.
- Demonstrated success in driving growth, operational transformation, stakeholder management, and organizational development.
