Metrika Moduler Solutions, a modular furniture manufacturer in Vasai (Mumbai), is hiring a Factory Floor Supervisor to run day-to-day production on the floor. This is a hands-on role combining floor coordination with production supervision - keeping the line moving, on-spec and on-schedule.

Role & responsibilities:

- Supervise daily operations across cutting, edge-banding, drilling/CNC, hardware fitting and assembly stations.

- Allocate work to floor workers and machine operators; track output against the daily production plan.

- Read and interpret cutting lists, drawings and BOMs; ensure every job matches design specs and dimensions.

- Monitor material flow (panels, laminates, hardware) and flag shortages to stores/purchase before they stall the line.

- Run first-piece and in-process quality checks; manage rework and keep the rejection rate down.

- Maintain machine uptime with basic troubleshooting; escalate breakdowns and follow preventive maintenance.





- Enforce safety, housekeeping (5S) and correct handling of boards and machines.

- Record daily production, downtime and manpower data; report to the production/plant head.

- Coordinate with dispatch so finished units are ready and packed on schedule.

Preferred candidate profile:

- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (DME) - mandatory.

- 1-3 years on a manufacturing/production floor; modular furniture, woodworking or panel-based production preferred.

- Able to read production drawings and cutting lists and take accurate measurements.

- Comfortable managing floor workers and holding the line to daily targets.

- Basic computer literacy (production sheets / MS Excel).

- Valuable to have: CNC and edge-banding exposure; modular kitchen/wardrobe manufacturing knowledge.
