Job Description IT Infrastructure & Information Security Trainee (Freshers)

Position: IT Infrastructure & Information Security Trainee
Qualification: B.E./B.Tech (IT, Computer Science, Electronics), BCA, MCA, B.Sc. (IT/CS), or equivalent

Role Overview

We are looking for enthusiastic freshers who are eager to build a career in IT Infrastructure, Cloud, Information Security, and Compliance. The trainee will receive hands-on exposure to AWS Cloud, Physical Data Center operations, Identity & Access Management (IAM/PAM), and regulatory compliance activities.

Key Responsibilities

AWS Cloud

- Assist in monitoring AWS resources (EC2, S3, IAM, RDS, VPC).
- Support user access management and cloud administration tasks.
- Help maintain cloud asset inventory and documentation.
- Monitor cloud backups and basic security configurations.

Physical Data Center Management

- Assist in monitoring server room and Data Center operations.
- Maintain hardware and infrastructure inventory.
- Coordinate with vendors for preventive maintenance and issue resolution.
- Ensure physical access records and documentation are maintained.

Compliance & Information Security

- Support ISO 27001, RBI, and internal compliance activities.
- Maintain audit evidence and compliance trackers.
- Assist in security documentation, policies, and SOPs.
- Support vulnerability management and patch compliance tracking.





Identity & Access Management

- Assist in user creation, modification, and deactivation activities.
- Support periodic User Access Reviews (UAM).
- Work with Identity & Access Management (IAM) and Privileged Access Management (PAM) tools.
- Maintain access request records and approvals.

Documentation & Reporting

- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports.
- Maintain infrastructure and security documentation.
- Update trackers for audits, assets, and compliance activities.

Required Skills

- Basic knowledge of computer networking and operating systems.
- Basic understanding of cloud computing (AWS preferred).
- Familiarity with cybersecurity concepts.
- Valuable knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Willingness to learn new technologies and work in a team.

Preferred Knowledge (Not Mandatory)

- AWS Cloud Practitioner (or pursuing).
- Basics of Linux and Windows Server.
- Networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, Firewall, VPN).
- Understanding of ISO 27001 or cybersecurity concepts.
