ETL/SQL Server Developer with deep traditional database expertise and the ability to evolve into Python and Quartz-based scheduling environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and optimize ETL pipelines and data workflows
- Work extensively with SQL Server (T-SQL, performance tuning, stored procedures)
- Ensure data integrity, validation, and efficient data processing
- Support batch processing and job scheduling (Quartz or similar tools)
- Contribute to modernization efforts by adopting Python-based data processing
- Troubleshoot production issues and optimize database performance
Required Skills:
- Solid hands-on experience with ETL processes and SQL Server
- Deep understanding of database fundamentals, indexing, and query optimization
- Experience with data warehousing concepts
Preferred Qualifications:
- Exposure to Python for data processing
- Familiarity with Quartz or job scheduling frameworks
- Experience in banking/financial data environments.
