Position description:

We are seeking an experienced anddisciplined Security Officerwith an Army or Defence backgroundto oversee allaspects of plant security and safety at our JSSL manufacturing facility inPatalganga, Mumbai. The incumbent will be responsible for supervising securitypersonnel, managing surveillance systems, and ensuring the protection ofpeople, property, and company assets.

Key Responsibilities:

- Supervise and monitor all security operations within the plant premises to ensure the safety of personnel, materials, and assets.

- Control and regulate access for employees, contractors, visitors, and vehicles in accordance with company procedures.

- Ensure effective functioning and regular maintenance of CCTV, alarm systems , and other surveillance equipment.

- Prevent theft, pilferage, vandalism, or any unauthorized activity within or around the factory area.

- Conduct security audits, risk assessments , and incident investigations , and implement preventive and corrective actions.

- Supervise and manage outsourced security personnel including attendance, deployment, and discipline.





- Maintain proper records and documentation , and prepare daily and monthly security reports for management.

- Coordinate with local police, fire brigade, and emergency services as and when required.

- Oversee parking management within the premises ensuring orderly vehicle movement, entry/exit control, and prevention of congestion.

- Ensure adherence to fire safety protocols , conduct periodic fire drills , and maintain close coordination with the Safety Officer for compliance.

Qualifications & Experience:

- Ex-Serviceman from the Army, Navy, Air Force, or Paramilitary Forces (mandatory/preferred).

- Age: Below 50 years.

- Experience: 7-12 years in industrial or manufacturing plant security management.

- Solid knowledge of CCTV operations, access control systems, and fire safety practices.

- Proven leadership, discipline, and ability to handle security incidents and emergencies effectively.
