Job Summary:

The incumbent will be responsible for leading Laxmi Dental Ltd. group’s technology strategy, digital transformation, and IT infrastructure. The role will focus on optimizing existing systems, including the Zoho One ecosystem and bespoke production software, while introducing advanced technologies such as AI, IoT, and automation to enhance operational efficiency. The position will also ensure strong data security, regulatory compliance, and effective leadership of the internal technology team to support Laxmi Dental Ltd. group’s global operations and growth.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Technology Strategy & Digital Transformation

Define and implement the long-term technology roadmap aligned with business growth and operational goals.

Drive digital transformation initiatives across manufacturing, sales, CRM, finance, and operations.

Evaluate and implement emerging technologies including Artificial Intelligence (AI), and IoT.

2. Process Automation & Systems Optimization

Work closely with cross-functional teams including Sales, CRM, Procurement, Finance, and Production to identify opportunities for automation.

Design and implement technology-driven workflows to enhance productivity and reduce operational bottlenecks.

Optimize the usage and integration of the Zoho One ecosystem.

3. Technology Infrastructure & Systems Management

Oversee the architecture, development, and maintenance of the company’s bespoke production software systems.

Ensure the stability, scalability, and performance of the organization’s IT infrastructure and digital platforms.

Lead system upgrades, integrations, and technology implementation projects.

Compliance & Data Security

Ensure compliance with international data protection and healthcare regulations including:

o HIPAA (United States)

o GDPR (European Union)

o DPDP (India)

Establish and maintain robust cybersecurity frameworks and data protection protocols.

5. Team Leadership & Capability Building

Lead and mentor internal technology teams including Production Support, Infrastructure, and Zoho System teams.

Identify capability gaps and develop training and growth plans for team members.

Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

6. Innovation & Technology Adoption

Explore opportunities to integrate AI-driven analytics, IoT-enabled manufacturing, and automation tools.

Identify technologies that enhance production efficiency, quality control, and operational visibility.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.

Preferred Experience

10+ years of technology leadership experience, preferably in manufacturing, healthcare, or B2B services.

Proven experience managing enterprise technology ecosystems and digital transformation initiatives.

- Experience working in a publicly listed organization or highly regulated industry.
- Strong expertise in Zoho One ecosystem (CRM, Books, Creator, Analytics).
- Knowledge of AI/ML applications and IoT implementation in production environments.
- Familiarity with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) or production management software.
- Experience in healthcare, dental industry, or medical devices is an added advantage.
