Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Assistant Manager Supply Chain to manage international procurement, demand planning, logistics coordination, new product costing, and supplier management across multiple global manufacturing locations.

This is a high-ownership individual contributor role where the selected candidate will coordinate directly with international subsidiaries and manufacturers while helping build AI-enabled supply chain workflows that improve operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

International Procurement

- Manage end-to-end procurement activities across manufacturers in India, Germany, Italy, Sweden, Slovenia, and South Korea.
- Handle the complete purchase order lifecycle including issuance, production tracking, dispatch, and documentation.
- Coordinate with contract manufacturers regarding pricing, lead times, MOQ, and production schedules.
- Ensure procurement activities align with regulatory approvals and certification timelines.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with global manufacturers and suppliers.

Demand Planning

- Consolidate monthly demand forecasts from international subsidiaries.
- Maintain rolling 3 - 6 month demand plans.
- Monitor inventory requirements and identify demand-supply gaps.
- Prepare forecasting reports and supply planning dashboards for management.

Logistics & International Documentation

- Coordinate with freight forwarders, shipping partners, and customs agents for international shipments.
- Manage export-import documentation including:




- COA (Certificate of Analysis)
- GMP Certificates
- Product Dossiers
- Import Permits

- Track shipments and proactively resolve logistics issues.
- Ensure compliance with country-specific import regulations.

New Product Costing

- Prepare landed cost calculations for new products.
- Analyze manufacturing costs, freight, duties, regulatory expenses, and target margins.
- Identify and evaluate new suppliers and manufacturers.
- Conduct market benchmarking for ingredients and finished products.
- Build reusable costing models for future product launches.

AI & Digital Process Improvement

- Develop AI-enabled workflows using ChatGPT, Claude, and automation platforms.
- Build dashboards using Excel, Google Sheets, and Looker Studio.
- Create SOPs, templates, and automated workflows to improve SCM efficiency.
- Drive digital transformation initiatives within the supply chain function.

Subsidiary Coordination

- Act as the primary supply chain coordinator for subsidiary teams in Ukraine, Georgia, Uzbekistan, and Poland.
- Align procurement with product registrations and launch timelines.
- Support supply chain planning for the India D2C business expansion.

Required Skills

- 3 - 7 years of experience in Supply Chain, International Procurement, or SCM Coordination.
- Experience in Pharma, Nutraceuticals, FMCG, Healthcare, or Life Sciences industries.
- Strong understanding of international procurement and cross-border sourcing.
- Knowledge of:
- Incoterms
- Import-Export Documentation
- Freight Management (Air & Sea)
- Customs Procedures





- Expertise in landed cost calculations, FOB/CIF pricing, and duty structures.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets skills.
- Experience working with ERP or Supply Chain Planning tools.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to coordinate with international teams across multiple time zones.
- Exposure to regulatory documentation for pharmaceutical or nutraceutical products.

Preferred Skills

- MBA in Supply Chain Management, Operations, or International Business.
- Experience with Contract Manufacturing Organizations (CMO) or international trading companies.
- Exposure to Eastern European, Central Asian, or EU markets.
- Knowledge of Nutraceuticals or Cosmeceuticals.
- Experience using AI tools for automation, reporting, or workflow optimization.
