A) Job Description :-

- Key Responsibilities:

1. Design and Development of Message Flows:

- Design, develop, and implement message flows in IBM Integration Bus (IIB) / IBM App Connect to support business processes and application integrations.
- Work with various protocols and message formats (e.g., SOAP, REST, JMS, HTTP, FTP, MQ, etc.) to create adaptable, flexible integration solutions.
- Use graphical and textual development tools (e.g., IIB's flow editor) to build, configure, and deploy integration solutions.

Integration with Backend Systems:

- Integrate IBM IIB with databases, messaging systems (e.g., IBM MQ, JMS), external APIs, web services, and legacy systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, etc.).
- Design and implement interfaces between multiple applications and systems, ensuring smooth data exchange and transformation.

3. Data Transformation and Mapping:

- Develop transformations to map data from one format to another using IBM IIBs built-in nodes, ESQL (Extended Structured Query Language), and other integration technologies.
- Leverage transformation technologies such as XML, JSON, CSV, or proprietary data formats to convert and map data as needed.

4. Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA):

- Develop and maintain services based on the principles of SOA and microservices using IIB.
- Implement Web Services (SOAP and REST) to expose and consume services, ensuring secure and reliable communication between systems.

5. Error Handling and Logging:

- Implement robust error handling and logging mechanisms in message flows to detect, capture, and resolve integration errors.
- Use IIBs built-in logging and monitoring features to track message flow execution and troubleshoot integration issues.

6. Testing and Validation:

- Develop unit tests for individual message flows and integration solutions to ensure they meet business requirements and work as expected.




- Perform end-to-end testing of integrated systems and processes to ensure data integrity, transformation accuracy, and successful execution.

7. Deployment and Configuration:

- Deploy and configure integration solutions in development, test, and production environments using IBM Integration Bus (IIB) deployment tools.
- Ensure that deployed solutions are configured properly for optimal operation in various environments, including load balancing, high availability, and disaster recovery scenarios.

8. Documentation:

- Create and maintain technical documentation for developed message flows, integration logic, deployment procedures, and troubleshooting steps.
- Document all custom configurations, transformations, and interfaces to ensure future maintainability.

Skills :

- IBM Integration Bus (IIB): Strong hands-on experience with IBM IIB (or IBM App Connect), including message flow development, node configuration, and deployment.
- ESQL: Proficient in ESQL (Extended Structured Query Language) for data transformation, mapping, and business logic implementation within IIB.
- Integration Protocols: Familiarity with various messaging protocols such as MQ, JMS, HTTP(S), FTP, SOAP, REST, and others.
- Data Formats: Experience with data formats such as XML, JSON, CSV, and custom formats used in enterprise integration scenarios.
- Web Services: Knowledge of SOAP and RESTful web services, including how to expose and consume them using IIB.
