Role & responsibilities

Windows/Vmware/nutanix Admin

JD for Vmware.Min 4+ years of experience as a vmware admin
Experience in the installation, configuration and administration of ESXi VMware vCenter, Vrops.
Administration and troubleshooting of vSphere components.
Monitoring of Virtual Machine's &ESXi; servers (CPU, Memory, Disk and Network Utilization).
Configuration and Management of HA, DRS Clusters and Fault Tolerance.
Capacity Planning of Existing Virtual Infrastructure.
Migration of Virtual Machines using VMotion and Storage VMotion
Performing Snapshots, Cloning, Cold Migrations, Hot Migrations of VM
Performing DR DRILL related activity
Patching VM and virtualized infra as per security requirement.
Should be able to manage the Esxi / vCenter upgrade .
Log call and coordinate with Vmware for severity 1 cases.
Creation of Virtual Switches, Ports and Port groups (Management Network,VMkernel for VMotion& Virtual Machine).
Networking: - vSwitch, VMkernel, Vmnic, VDS
Creating Templates from VM's, deploy VM's from templates and allocateresources
Storage configuration: - iSCSI, SAN, NFS and VSAN.
Analysis of the VMware logs and help to understand and isolate the issue.
Identifying and troubleshooting various Alerts and Events generated in
vSphere.
VMware Update Manager.
Configured Resource Pool, vMotion, Alerts, Alarms, NTP.
Performance Analysis & System Performance.
Installing, configuring and managing physical and virtual servers.
Positive understanding of DNS, Network Tools, Storage Technologies, LoadBalancers and other infrastructure components





JD for Windows:

Core Responsibilities JD: Must have
Active Directory Management
Create, manage, and delete user accounts, groups, and organizational units (OUs).
Set group policies (GPOs) to enforce security and configuration settings across the domain.
Domain Controller Maintenance
Install and configure domain controllers.
Monitor replication between domain controllers.
Ensure high availability and disaster recovery.
Security & Access Control
Manage permissions and access rights using ACLs and group memberships.
Implement password policies and account lockout policies.
Monitor for unauthorized access or changes.
DNS & DHCP Configuration
Maintain domain name resolution and IP address allocation.
Ensure proper integration with AD.
Troubleshooting & Support
Resolve login issues, replication errors, and GPO failures.
Provide support for domain-joined devices and users.
Auditing & Compliance
Enable auditing of login events, changes to AD objects, and policy modifications.
Ensure compliance with internal and external security standards.
Required Skills
Deep understanding of Windows Server OS (especially Server 2016/2019/2022).
Proficiency in PowerShell scripting for automation.
Knowledge of Kerberos, LDAP, and NTLM authentication protocols.

JD for Nutanix:
Manage and support Nutanix Hyper-Converged Infrastructure (HCI), ensuring availability, performance, and reliability across on-prem and hybrid environments.

Core Responsibilities:
* Administer and maintain Nutanix clusters, including AOS, Prism Element, and Prism Central
* Configure and deploy Nutanix hardware/software, including virtual machines and storage volumes
* Monitor system performance, health metrics, and proactively resolve issues
* Analyze system logs and perform root cause analysis (RCA) after incidents
* Conduct regular system maintenance: upgrades, patches, and firmware updates
* Collaborate with virtualization teams (VMware, Hyper-V) for integration and fault tolerance
* Automate tasks and streamline operations via scripting or Prism AIOps
* Document configurations, SOPs, and incident reports

Required Skills & Experience:
* 4+ years in systems/infrastructure administration, with focused experience on Nutanix environments
* Proficient with Nutanix AOS, AHV, Prism Element/Central
* Experience with virtualization platforms: VMware ESXi, Hyper-V
* Strong Linux administration skills (e.g., RHEL, CentOS)
* Familiarity with networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, VLANs, DNS)
* Skilled in troubleshooting performance and stability issues
* Basic scripting/automation knowledge (Bash, Python, PowerShell)
