Role Description

Origination is responsible for developing and implementing the Origination strategy and agenda for the groups/countries within their remit, in line with bank and/or Functions strategic objectives, ensuring adherence to bank policy and relevant legal/regulatory frameworks

Work includes:

- Pitching ideas/solutions to the bank s larger clients and/or in complex structured transactions
- Preparing relevant materials to pitch to new or existing clients with the aim of winning the mandate for the bank
- Ensuring smooth execution of transactions
- Leveraging relationships built with internal stakeholders e

Structuring

Your key responsibilities

- Work on origination and execution of transactions like capital raising, MA, corporate restructurings, as part of sector / country coverage team

- Deal Origination:
- Work with senior bankers on the analysis and development of transaction ideas for discussion with clients

- In-depth analysis of companies / sectors / transactions financial modeling, valuation, industry analysis and benchmarking

- Transaction Execution:

- Work as an integral member of deal teams on mandated transactions (capital raising, MA, corporate restructurings)





- Transaction coordination both internally as well as with clients / 3rd parties (other banks, law fi rms, auditors etc )

- Financial analysis, valuation and modeling of companies / transaction structures

Development of investment thesis (analyst presentations, road show presentations, information memorandums etc )

- Conduct due diligence and coordinate deal documentation

Your skills and experience

- Good level of proficiency in accounting and financial analysis of companies

- Robust communication and interpersonal skills

- Attention to detail, number oriented and good level of motivation

- Proficiency in the use of MS Excel and MS PowerPoint

- Individuals with background in CF, equity research, corporate valuation etc would be preferred
