Position Overview

We are seeking an accomplished and forward-thinking professional to lead our External Manufacturing vertical for the Formulations business. This techno-commercial leadership role demands strategic alignment of contract manufacturing operations with supply chain execution, regulatory compliance, and business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership & Operations

- Drive external manufacturing strategy in alignment with overall business goals.
- Lead the execution of formulation supply plans across global markets.
- Ensure timely product launches and regulatory readiness.

Techno-Commercial Oversight

- Manage 60% technical and 40% commercial responsibilities, including vendor management, cost optimization, and quality assurance.
- Interface with Contract Manufacturing Organizations (CMOs), Contract Development and Manufacturing Organizations (CDMOs), procurement, quality, and regulatory teams.

Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement





- Serve as a key liaison between internal teams and external manufacturing partners.
- Monitor performance metrics and continuous improvement initiatives.

Candidate Profile

Educational Qualifications

- B.Pharm / M.Pharm
- MBA in Operations or Supply Chain (preferred)

Experience & Expertise

- 16 to 25 years of progressive experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing, supply chain, and operations.
- Deep understanding of global regulatory requirements (US, EU, ROW).
- Proven expertise in managing complex external manufacturing networks.
- Robust command over GMP, regulatory audits, and global product launch management.
- Proficiency in SAP (MM, PP modules), Excel-based analytics, and advanced supply chain tools.
