Job Purpose

Responsible for end-to-end bidding, costing, and estimation activities, with a strict focus on Civil & Structural works for Data Center projects. The role requires winning competitive bids while ensuring technical and commercial accuracy.

Key Responsibilities

- Estimation & Costing: Prepare precise quantity take-offs (BOQ validation) and detailed rate analysis for civil works (concrete, steel, piling, finishes) from structural drawings.
- Bid Management: Analyze RFPs/tenders to identify project risks, constraints, and specific data center requirements (heavy loading, tight timelines, strict tolerances).
- Vendor Coordination: Float inquiries, evaluate vendor/subcontractor quotes, and prepare commercial comparative statements.
- Value Engineering: Identify cost optimization strategies and alternative construction methodologies to make bids highly competitive.
- Risk Assessment:



Develop risk-prospect matrices for tenders and collaborate with Procurement and Project teams to align bids with execution strategies.

Requirements & Qualifications (Mandatory)

- Education: Bachelors Degree (B.E./B.Tech) in Civil Engineering is mandatory.
- Domain Experience: Must have proven experience working on Data Center projects.
- Experience: 2-4 years in Tendering and Estimation for large-scale industrial/commercial projects.
- Software: Proficiency in MS Excel, AutoCAD, PlanSwift, or Candy (CCS).

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

- Bid Accuracy: Minimal variance between estimated cost and actual project execution cost.
- Timeliness: 100% on-time submission of high-quality tender packages.
- Value Engineering: Tangible cost savings identified during the pre-bid stage.
