Role Overview :

We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Senior PHP Developer to join our growing engineering team in Mumbai. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our core platform, ensuring its scalability, reliability, and performance. You will collaborate closely with product managers, UX designers, and other engineers to deliver high-quality software solutions that meet the needs of our customers and drive business growth. Your expertise will be crucial in mentoring junior developers and contributing to the overall technical direction of the company.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and develop robust, scalable, and maintainable PHP-based web applications for our e-commerce platform, ensuring high performance and security.

- Collaborate with product managers and UX designers to translate business requirements into technical specifications and user-friendly interfaces.

- Write clean, well-documented, and testable code, adhering to industry best practices and coding standards.

- Optimize database queries and application performance to ensure a seamless user experience for our customers.

- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to other developers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, ensuring minimal disruption to our platform and users.

- Deploy and maintain applications on AWS cloud infrastructure, leveraging services such as EC2, S3, and RDS.

- Contribute to the development and maintenance of our CI/CD pipeline,



automating the build, test, and deployment process.

- Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance, fostering their growth and development.

- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in web development, and proactively identify opportunities to improve our platform.

Required Skillset :

- Proven ability to design and develop complex web applications using PHP and MySQL, demonstrating a deep understanding of object-oriented programming principles and design patterns.

- Strong proficiency in front-end technologies such as JavaScript, HTML, and CSS, enabling the creation of engaging and user-friendly interfaces.

- Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services, including EC2, S3, RDS, and Lambda, showcasing the ability to deploy and manage applications in a cloud environment.

- Solid understanding of Agile software development methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban, demonstrating the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.

- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to quickly identify and resolve complex technical issues.

- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.

- Experience with Python is a plus.

- Ability to work effectively in a rapid-paced, dynamic environment, adapting to changing priorities and requirements.
